FM27 unlimited transfer budget: how to add money to your club
Want to rebuild a club without waiting for the board? In Football Manager 27 the cleanest way to get more transfer money in a single-player save is to raise the club's balance and let the game do the rest.
Single-player only. Don't use money edits in online or shared careers.
How money works in FM27
Your club has a bank balance, and the board decides how much of the club's money becomes your transfer and wage budget. In the in-game Finances screen you can also move money between the transfer and wage budgets with the budget slider. A healthier balance gives the board more to work with.
Editing the club balance with Bootroom
Bootroom can edit the club balance and the club's stored finance values (four finance fields) in your running FM27 save.
- Back up your save first.
- Load your career in Steam FM27 (build 27.0.0, Windows 10/11 64-bit).
- Open Bootroom, switch to clubs and search for your club.
- Click the balance value, enter a new amount and press Save.
- Press Continue in FM so the game picks up the change, then click Read records in Bootroom before editing again.
- Check the Finances screen and adjust the budget slider if needed.
- Use Save Game to keep it.
Is "unlimited" really unlimited?
No editor gives you literally infinite money. You set a large number. In practice, a very large balance is effectively unlimited for a normal career. Extremely large values can look odd in the finance screens, so a sensible large figure works better than the biggest number you can type.
Spend it wisely
Money is only half of a rebuild. You can also upgrade training and youth facilities, junior coaching, youth recruitment and stadium values directly, without waiting for board approval. And the free version of Bootroom shows hidden attributes and CA/PA for every player, so you know who is worth buying.
Bootroom doesn't edit contracts, so wages and transfer fees still go through FM's normal negotiations.

How do I get unlimited money in FM27?
In a single-player save, raise your club balance with an editor such as Bootroom, press Continue in FM, then use Save Game. The board sets budgets from the club's finances, and you can adjust the transfer/wage split in the Finances screen.
Can I set the transfer budget directly?
Bootroom edits the club balance and four stored finance fields. Use FM's budget slider in the Finances screen to move money between the transfer and wage budgets.
Can I edit player contracts or wages?
No. Contracts are not editable in Bootroom.
