FM27 cheats, trainers and Cheat Engine
Football Manager 27 has no built-in cheat codes. When people search for "FM27 cheats", a "trainer" or "Cheat Engine", they usually want one of a few things: more money, better players, a higher potential for a wonderkid, or better facilities. Here is how those options compare for a single-player career.
Important: only use any of these in your own offline, single-player saves. Don't use them in online or shared multiplayer careers, where they spoil the game for others.
Cheat Engine
Cheat Engine is a general-purpose memory scanner. It isn't built for Football Manager, so you have to find values yourself by searching memory, and addresses change between game builds. It's powerful but fiddly, and it's easy to change the wrong value and crash the game. Download it only from its official site.
Trainers
A trainer is a small program with preset hotkeys, common in action games. Football Manager has thousands of players and clubs, so a hotkey trainer is a poor fit. Be careful with trainers from unknown sources.
A dedicated editor
An FM editor understands the game's records. You search a player by name and change a labelled value. Bootroom is one option for Steam FM27 build 27.0.0 on Windows 10/11 64-bit:
- Players: all technical, mental and physical attributes, plus Current Ability (CA) and Potential Ability (PA).
- Hidden attributes: consistency, important matches, injury proneness, versatility and dirtiness.
- Staff: coaching, scouting and medical attributes and staff ability.
- Clubs: club balance and finances (four stored finance fields), training and youth facilities, junior coaching, youth recruitment and stadium values.
Not editable yet: preferred foot, positions, contracts, nationality, personality and reputation.
Common "cheats" and how to do them
- Money: raise the club balance. See unlimited transfer budget.
- Wonderkids: raise potential ability. See change CA and PA.
- Better players now: edit attributes. See edit player attributes.
- Fewer injuries: lower injury proneness. See hidden attributes.
- Better youth intake: upgrade youth facilities, junior coaching and youth recruitment.
After editing, press Continue in FM (player screens refresh on the next day), click Read records in Bootroom before editing again, and use Save Game. Back up your save first.
